  • 3 medium fresh apples, diced
  • 2 teaspoons ground cinnamo
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground nutmeg
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1 3/4 cups milk
  • 2 large eggs
  • 2 teaspoons pure vanilla extract
  • 1/4 cup maple syrup
  • 3 tablespoons melted butter
  • 1/2 cup chopped walnuts (optional)

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F and grease a 9x13-inch baking dish.
  • In a large mixing bowl, combine the rolled oats, diced apples, cinnamon, nutmeg, baking powder, and salt.
  • In a separate bowl, whisk together the milk, eggs, vanilla extract, maple syrup, and melted butter until smooth.
  • Pour the wet ingredients over the oat mixture and stir gently until combined. Fold in the chopped walnuts if using.
  • Transfer the mixture to the prepared baking dish and spread evenly.
  • Bake for 35-40 minutes until the top is golden brown and the center feels set.
