Ingredients
  

  • 1.5 lbs boneless chicken thighs
  • 1 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1 cup buttermilk
  • 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp salt
  • ½ tsp black pepper
  • 6 slider buns
  • Cooking spray as needed

Instructions
 

  • Cut chicken thighs into slider-sized portions, roughly 3-4 ounces each.
  • Pour buttermilk into a shallow bowl and add chicken pieces. Marinate for at least 15 minutes.
  • Set up a breading station with three bowls: seasoned flour, buttermilk with chicken, and panko breadcrumbs with paprika and remaining seasonings.
  • Remove chicken from buttermilk, dredge in seasoned flour, dip back into buttermilk, then coat with panko breadcrumbs.
  • Preheat air fryer to 380°F for 5 minutes and spray the basket with cooking spray.
  • Arrange breaded chicken in a single layer and cook for 12-15 minutes, flipping halfway through.
  • Toast slider buns in the air fryer for 1-2 minutes.
  • Let cooked sliders rest for 2-3 minutes before serving.

Notes

Ensure chicken is patted dry before marinating to avoid sogginess. Use a meat thermometer to check for doneness.
