Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup Water
  • 1/2 cup Unsalted Butter
  • 2 tablespoons Granulated Sugar
  • 1/2 teaspoon Salt
  • 1 cup All-Purpose Flour
  • 2 Large Eggs
  • 1 teaspoon Vanilla Extract
  • 1/2 cup Granulated Sugar (for coating)
  • 1 tablespoon Ground Cinnamo
  • 1/2 cup Semi-Sweet Chocolate Chips
  • 1/2 cup Heavy Cream
  • Vegetable or Canola Oil (for frying)

Instructions
 

  • Combine water, butter, sugar, and salt in a saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil.
  • Remove from heat and stir in flour until a smooth ball forms.
  • Let the dough cool for 5 minutes, then add eggs one at a time, mixing until smooth.
  • Transfer dough to a piping bag fitted with a star tip.
  • Heat oil in a pot to 350°F (175°C). Pipe 1-inch pieces of dough into the oil and fry until golden brown.
  • Remove and drain on paper towels, then toss in cinnamon sugar while warm.
  • For the dipping sauce, heat cream and pour over chocolate chips, whisk until smooth.
  • Serve Churro Bites warm with the dipping sauce.

Notes

Ensure oil temperature is maintained at 350°F for best results. Store leftovers in an airtight container at room temperature for up to 2 days.
