  • Pink and blue food coloring
  • 2 cups powdered sugar
  • 2 tablespoons corn starch
  • 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions
 

  • Prepare your workspace by lining a large baking sheet with parchment paper and dusting it lightly with cornstarch.
  • Melt the butter in a large microwave-safe bowl, heating it for 30-second intervals until completely liquified.
  • Add the mini marshmallows to the melted butter and microwave in 30-second bursts, stirring between each interval, until the marshmallows become completely smooth and glossy.
  • Quickly stir in the cotton candy extract, vanilla extract, and your chosen food coloring.
  • Gradually add the powdered sugar, mixing continuously until you achieve a workable consistency.
  • Using clean hands dusted with cornstarch, pinch off small portions of the mixture and roll them into bite-sized balls.
  • Place each formed bite on your prepared baking sheet, leaving space between them.
  • Allow the Cotton Candy Bites to set at room temperature for at least 30 minutes before serving.
