Ingredients

  • Crescent Roll Dough
  • Eggs
  • Cheese
  • Cooked bacon or sausage or ham (optional)
  • Spinach or bell peppers or mushrooms (optional)
  • Chocolate chips or fruit preserves or cinnamon sugar (optional)
  • Salt and black pepper to taste

Instructions

  • Preheat your oven to 375°F (190°C) and prepare your workspace.
  • Open the crescent roll can and unroll the dough on a flat surface. Separate the triangles carefully and lay them flat on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
  • Cook the proteins if using, crumble or dice as needed. In a mixing bowl, whisk the eggs with salt and pepper and cook them on low heat until just set.
  • Place a small spoonful of scrambled eggs, a sprinkle of cheese, and your chosen protein or vegetable at the wide end of each dough triangle. Roll the dough from the wide end to the narrow tip.
  • Place the filled crescent rolls on the baking sheet and bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown.
  • Allow the crescent rolls to cool slightly before serving.

Notes

Chill the dough if your kitchen is warm. Use parchment paper to prevent sticking. Pre-cook ingredients for even cooking. Avoid overfilling and seal the edges firmly.
