  • 2 cups filtered water Quality water enhances the infusion.
  • 1 inch fresh ginger, thinly sliced or grated (about 1 tablespoon grated) Fresh ginger provides anti-inflammatory benefits.
  • 1/2 teaspoon ground turmeric (or 1 inch fresh turmeric, thinly sliced/grated) Turmeric supports anti-inflammatory effects.
  • 1/4 teaspoon black pepper Enhances absorption of turmeric.
  • 1 stick cinnamon Adds a warm sweetness.
  • 1 tablespoon raw, unfiltered apple cider vinegar (with the mother) Supports gut health.
  • 1 tablespoon fresh lemon juice Provides Vitamin C and detox support.
  • 1-2 teaspoons raw honey or maple syrup (optional) Use to taste for sweetness.

Instructions
 

Preparation

  • In a small saucepan, combine the filtered water with the fresh ginger, ground turmeric, black pepper, and cinnamon stick.
  • Bring the mixture to a gentle boil over medium heat. Once boiling, reduce the heat to low, cover the saucepan, and let it simmer for 10-15 minutes.
  • Carefully remove the saucepan from the heat. Place a fine-mesh strainer over your mug or heat-proof jar and pour the tea mixture through it, discarding the solids.
  • Allow the strained tea to cool for a minute or two before adding the apple cider vinegar and lemon juice.
  • If desired, add 1 to 2 teaspoons of raw honey or maple syrup and stir until fully dissolved.
  • Your Natural Mounjaro Tea is now ready to be enjoyed warm.

Notes

For optimal results, prioritize fresh, organic ingredients. Consider drinking this tea in the morning to kickstart digestion. Adjust ingredient ratios to your taste preferences.
