Ingredients
  

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tbsp chili powder
  • 1 tsp cumi
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
  • 8 small corn or flour tortillas
  • 2 tbsp fresh lime juice
  • 2 cups cabbage slaw
  • 1 large avocado, sliced or mashed
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions
 

  • Pat the shrimp dry with paper towels and place in a medium bowl.
  • Season the shrimp with chili powder, cumin, garlic powder, smoked paprika, salt, and pepper. Drizzle with 1 tbsp olive oil and lime juice, then toss to coat.
  • Heat a large skillet over medium-high heat and add the remaining olive oil.
  • Add the shrimp in a single layer and cook for about 2 minutes on one side, then flip and cook for another 1-2 minutes until opaque.
  • Warm the tortillas slightly before serving.
  • Assemble the tacos by placing cabbage slaw on each tortilla, topping with shrimp, avocado, and cilantro.

Notes

Ensure shrimp are dry for a good sear. Do not overcrowd the pan to maintain a nice crust. Consider seasoning the cabbage slaw with lime and salt before serving.
